Just a few photos to show our visit to our partner school in Hyderabad. The pupils were really pleased to meet us, and, as well as telling us all about their life at the residential school, they were very keen to know if their education and schooling are similar to pupils' experiences in the UK. The first photo shows a final year pupil whose home we visited- we met his sister and father and learned a lot about his background. The pupils learn their regional language in the first year at the school and then, in following years, they learn the curriculum in Hindi and English - this means thatthey are operating in three languages most of the time!!
